The package is made from a pre-cut blank (1) of cardboard with fold lines of the 'wrap-round' type, to contain a group of bottles. Transverse fold lines (3-7) define a floor (14), two side panels (13,15) and a top panel (16) together with tapered panels (23,28) connecting one side panel to the top and extending the top edge of the other side. Longitudinal fold lines (9-12) define jointing flaps (17-19,35,38) extending the floor, side and top panels, slots (22,68) between the flaps being contoured to give the assembled package a shape which closely follows the profile of the contained articles.
