The tray-holder, esp. for holding shell-foods, folds up and consists of a main frame (1) and two secondary half-frames (12) hinged to the main frame. The two half-frames together with the main frame form underneath supports (19) for the tray holder and top holders (20). The two half-frames are lockable open. Each half-frame consists of two horizontal arms (10,11) with two ends (9) bent vertically outwards.
