The adjuster has a base (31), with a groove (1) in its lower face. The groove has thrust faces (2) to keep the base in line with a driving chain. There is also an edge (3) giving a second reference and a locking screw (4) to fix the base and chain. At one end of the base are grooves (6) and tongues (7) to house the adjuster. The base itself is mounted on top of a cylinder (5) holding the control. This cylinder locates a block (18) which has a rod (22) which supports a feeler or comparator.
