The saddle bow is for a horse harness and is made of moulded plastics to form a pommel in a reversed V shape. The curved top is joined to a part forming the seat frame (3) by an intermediate band (2) which is transversely convex. The band extends to the right of the horse's back hollow, where it joins the seat frame and it is narrower than the same part of a normal bow. The pommel has a part (6) extending rearward and acting as a fixing support for the front of a stirrup leather (7).
