RESIN COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING A THERMOPLASTIC POLYMER, ESPECIALLY PVC OR A COPOLYMER HAVING A MAIN CONTENT OF VINYL CHLORIDE, A SHOCK ADDITIVE OF THE GRAFT COPOLYMER TYPE, AND POSSIBLY OTHER ADDITIVE CHOICES. BY A TRUNK CONSISTING OF A STATISTICAL COPOLYMER OF BUTADIENE OR ISOPRENE, OF AN ACRYLATE OF A CAC ALCOYL AND OF A POLYFUNCTIONAL CROSSLINKING AGENT, ON WHICH ARE CHAINS OF A POLYMER OF A METHACRYLATE CAC ALCOYL, ESPECIALLY METHYL METHACRYLATE. THE SHOCK OF THE ADDITIVE SHOCK GRAFTED COPOLYMER CONTAINS BY WEIGHT 0.5 TO 35 OF BUTADIENE OR ISOPRENE AND NOT MORE THAN 10 MOLAR OF THE CROSS-LINKING AGENT, WHILE THE GRAFTED CHAINS OF SUCH GRAFTED COPOLYMER REPRESENT 10 TO 200 BY WEIGHT OF THE SHAFT. / P P THE RESIN COMPOSITIONS PRODUCED ARE USEFUL IN APPLICATIONS FOR WHICH WE ARE LOOKING FOR IMPROVED IMPACT RESISTANCE AT ROOM TEMPERATURE, COLD OR AGAIN AFTER AGING.
