The invented circuit relates to a system for control of a stepper motor by alternating currents. Thyristors supervised by simple electronics allow the passage of an integer number of sinusoidal arcs, which induces a uniform motion of the motor without any vibration and with high reliability of positioning. The halt retention torque can be modulated by adjusting an independent direct current. This setup delivers its own clock pulses and is easily adapted to all types of motors and to all loads. IMAGE
