For the purposes of maintaining constant distribution when the flow rate of the primary current varies, the device is characterised in that it comprises a main chamber 2 receiving the primary current, and several secondary chambers 6, 11', 11" adjacent to the main chamber 2, equal in number to the secondary currents, in that each secondary chamber is separated from the main chamber by a partition 7, 12 in which is cut at least one vertically elongate aperture 8, 14', 14" whose width increases progressively from bottom to top, in that the bottom of all the apertures is at the same level, all the apertures having the same general shape and their width, at a given level, being the greater, the larger the fraction of the total flow rate which passes through them, and in that each secondary chamber is equipped with an exit 9, 15', 15" for a secondary current.
