The invention relates to a device enabling the extraction of the WC foul air in a very efficient manner. It consists of a flap seat having a channel at the rear connected to an electrical extractor. Two bilateral seals placed under the seat and fitting closely against the edges of the bowl force the renewal of the air from the front towards the rear of the seat, thereby leading the foul air towards the extractor. This device according to the invention is intended for the purification of conventional or chemical WCs in the home or for the public.
