METHOD OF INSTALLING VERTICAL JOINT FOR PRECAST CONCRETE UNDERGROUND CONTINUOUS WALL

PURPOSE:To provide a joint having high reliability, by a method wherein, after a precast reinforced concrete joint material, having recessed groove lines formed in the central parts of both sides, is erected in a joint part between underground walls, continuous wall elements are erected with the aid of the recessed groove lines serving as a guide. CONSTITUTION:A reference hole 5 in a circle in cros section is excavated in a joint between each of adjoining underground continuous wall elements by means of an auger, and a precast reinforced concrete joint material 1 is erected in the reference hole 5. After a trench hole 8 is excavated between the adjoining reference holes 5, precast concrete underground continuous wall elements 9 are erected in the trench hole 8 with the aid of recessed groove lines 2, formed in the central parts of both sides of the joint material 1, serving as a guide. This enables provision of a highly reliable vertical joint between each of adjacent continuous underground walls.
