PURPOSE:The titled food containing a mixture of powder or an extract essence of fruit of a Japanese privet and/or a Japanese angelica tree and honey. CONSTITUTION:Fruit of a Japanese privet and/or a Japanese angelica tree is dried and pulverized. The powder is directly used, or extracted with water or an aqueous solvent such as a mixture of water and an alcohol, the solvent is removed to give an extracted essence, the powder or the extracted essence is blended with honey, to give a healthy food having hair nourishing effect. The amount of the essence is 20-40pts.wt. based on 100pts.wt. honey. The blend may be properly mixed with royal jelly, powder of Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino, or its essence, etc., as subsidiary components. When a mixture of honey which is scarcely diluted and the above-mentioned components is used, the mixture has antiseptic action by itself, so addition of a sterilizer, antiseptic, etc., is not required, and when the healthy food consists of mixtures dissolved in an aqueous solution, a antiseptic,etc., are used.
