PURPOSE:To make the coincidence of the weight when dry with a set value possible by calculating the moisture content of a hydrous material to be measured from the electrostatic capacity thereof while supplying said material to a vessel, determining the apparent weight at said moisture content and controlling the supply rate. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic capacity of the material to be measured is measured by a measuring means 16 in the vessel 10 during the supply of the material to be measured to obtain the detection signal proportional to the moisture content in the case of supplying continuously the material contg. water at an optional moisture content from a supply means 18 into the vessel 10 by the prescribed amt. The signal is inputted to an arithmetic means 21 which calculates the weight value at the moisture corresponding to the target weight after drying by referencing to the preliminarily known relation between the moisture content and the weight. The weight value is inputted to a discriminating means 22 which compares the value with the detection signal of a weight measuring means 12 and stops the supply of the material to be measured by a control means 23 when both values are equal.
