TOTALLIZATOR SYSTEM SWITCHABLE TO MUTUAL OFF-COURSE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To attain efficient mutual off-course ticket sales system, by connecting a ticket issue machine of a fieled to a totallizator controller of the other fields. CONSTITUTION:Assuming that the mode is set as the field ticket sales mode in the field A, a ticket issue machine 3 is connected to a totallizator controller 2 via connectors TCB, TCA1. Further, the system is selected in the off-course mode in the field B, and a ticket issue machine of the field B is connected to the controller 2 of the field A via connectors TCB, TFO of a switching device 6 of the field B, a line control section 7 of the field B, an MODEM5, a line control section 7 of the field A, connectors TFO, TCA2 of a switching device 6 of the field A. Further, in order to increase the reliability of the system, one set of a spare machine is prepared for n-sets of existing machines, and if the operating machine is failed, the spare machine is immediately used.
