HOT AIR EMITTING DELVED KOTATSU (FOOT WARMER)

PURPOSE:To enable to fully heat the whole interior of the titled delved KOTATSU by warming the deepest portion of the KOTATSU first and at the same time to make the structure of the KOTATSU simple and consequently to realize a lightweight KOTATSU by a structure wherein an hot air blowing-off port is fixed on the underside of a top plate so as to be covered with the upper opening of a duct, the length of which is axially adjustable, and a gap is formed between the lower opening of the duct and the bottom surface of a delved KOTATSU sink. CONSTITUTION:A frame 5 is installed on a delved KOTATSU sink 1 provided on a floor surface. A heater 4 is contained in the interior of the top plate of the frame 5. In addition, an hot air blowing-off port 8 is located at the center of the underside of the top plate of the frame 5. An air suction port 9 is arranged around the hot air blowing-off port 8. The flanged upper opening of a big duct 6a is fixed onto the underside of the top plate of the frame 5 by means of set screws 7 so as to cover the hot air blowing-off port 8. The upper opening of a slender duct 6b is inserted in the lower opening of the big duct 6a and fixed with each other by means of set screws 7 after the length of the slender duct 6b is controlled so as to make a gap 10 between the lower opening of the slender duct 6b and the bottom surface of the delved KOTATSU sink 1. Consequently, the whole interior of the delved KOTATSU can be heated by warming the deepest portion of the KOTATSU first.
