AUTOMATIC WEIGHING INSTRUMENT FOR LUBRICATING OIL

PURPOSE:To obtain an instrument for weighing the replenishment quantity of lubricating oil automatically and precisely by providing an oil stock room for replenishing lubricating oil, a lubricating oil quantity sensor in the oil stock room and a lubricating oil replenishing valve to be closed at the unloading of a flyer cap and opened at the loading of the flyer cap. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating oil injection port is provided on a locker cover 2 arranged on the upper part of a vehicle engine, and when the flyer cap 4 is unloaded, a rod 10 excited upwards by a spring 9 through a spring seat 8 formed on the oil stock room 5 is moved upwards and a replenishing hole 6 formed on the bottom 5a of the room 5 is closed by the replenishing valve 11 fitted to the lower end of the rod 10. When the replenishing lubricating oil is injected into the room 5 under such a state, a lever 12 provided with a float 13 and a contact 15 is moved so that the contact 15 is slided on a resistor 14 fitted to the room 5 and a signal outputted from the resistor 14 is extracted through connection wires 16a, 16b to weight the replenishment quantity. When the cap 4 is applied, the valve 11 is dropped and the lubricating oil is replenished from the hole 6 into the engine. Thus, the equipment for weighing the lubricating oil automatically and precisely can be obtained.
