BLOCK FOR STRIP FOOTING AND METHOD OF BUILDING STRIP FOOTING EMPLOYING SAID BLOCK

PURPOSE:To easily build a strip footing, by a method wherein spaces, into which reinforcing bars are protruded, are formed at both ends of a block for a strip footing which is formed in an inverted L-shape in cross section and has a specified length, and concrete is placed in a space formed in a joint between the blocks. CONSTITUTION:A block 1 for strip footing is concrete block, formed in a T- shape in cross section, in which a strip footing part 3 with a specified length is formed integrally with a base part 4. The joint parts at both ends of the strip footing part 3 and the base part 4 are expanded, and spaces 6, provided at its central part with reinforcing bars 5 which are protruded from a body, and the reinforcing bar 5 is protruded by length being 2 times as long as that of the space. The blocks 1 are located adjacent to each other, a space, in which the reinforcing bars 5 protruded from the two blocks are superposed with each other, is formed in the joint therebetween, and joint concrete is placed in the space to build an integral strip footing.
