MOLDING MACHINE AND METHOD WHEREIN PLURALITY OF NOZZLE ARE ATTACHED TO T-DIE WITH PRESSURE REDUCING ROD TO APPLY REDUCED PRESSURE TO MULTICAVITY MOLD THEREBY EFFECTING HIGHLY EFFICIENT INJECTION TO MULTICAVITY-MOLD FOR SMALL ITEM
PURPOSE:To effect molding using a multicavity-mold for small items via gates from tips, by arranging a large runner longitudinally from just over nozzles juxtaposed and branched from a T-die at the forward end of an injection cylinder. CONSTITUTION:The forward end of a barrel 2 having a screw 1 therein is provided with a T-die 3, a T-shaped runner 4 for keeping a constant temperature is extended through the T-die, and the opposite ends of the T-die are provided with rods 6 each having a hydraulic cylinder 5 for reducing pressure. The rods 6 are repeatedly reciprocated synchronously with the molding cycles. A plurality of nozzles 9 are fixed to the T-die 3, each hot runner manifold 11 is extended through closed molds, and a male mold 12 and a female mold 13 are put together with the hot runner manifold 11 between them. A plurality of small items are simultaneously injection molded in cavities 14 of the multicavity-molds using hot runners 15, tips 16 and gates 17.
