WAVING PREVENTIVE METHOD FOR TALLET MOON POOL IN TALLET MOORING VESSEL

PURPOSE:To prevent the outfits etc. of a ship over a tallet from corrosion and damage by allowing a compressed air to jet out of injection nozzles, arranged in the circumferential direction of tallet, in the centripetal direction of moonpool, and thereby forming air barrier to suppress thrustup of sea water. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of injection nozzles 8 are arranged in the circumferential direction of the interior wall of a moonpool 7 situated inside a tallet 2, and compressed air is injected in the centripetal direction of this moonpool from the injection nozzles 8 while the water is introduced into the moonpool. This compressed air forms an air barrier A to cover the horizontally cut section of the moonpool, which can well prevent thrustup of the sea water. This leads also to the outfits etc. over the tallet from corrosion and damage likely to be caused by thrustup of the sea water.
