DEVICE TO PREVENT VIBRATION OF HEAT TRANSFER PIPE IN HEAT EXCHANGER

PURPOSE:To prevent a heat transfer pipe from vibrating, by fixing a liquid transferring wire, which transfers condensate from the heat transfer pipe by electric field, to the heat transfer pipe, and by fixing a neighboring pipe to the other by the intermediary of a neighboring fluid transferring wire. CONSTITUTION:A liquid transferring device 9 transfers condensate adhering to the surface 8 of a heat transfer pipe 3 to a spiral electrode 10 when high voltage is applied across the heat transfer pipe 3 and the spiral electrode 10, being the heat transfer pipe 3 as an electrode of one side. A gap 'B' is provided between the heat transfer pipe 3 and the spiral electrode 10 by fitting a spacer 13 consisting of an insulator to a pipe bracing wire 11, in order to prevent a trouble caused by discharge by the heat transfer pipe 3 being in contact with the spiral electrode 10. The heat transfer pipe 3 and the liquid transferring device 9 are held in their fixed positions not being displaced relatively to the radius direction of a heat transfer pipe 3, by the intermediary of a spacer 13. Because the spacers 13 of neighboring liquid transferring devices 9 are in contact with each other, neighboring heat transfer pipes 3 are held in their fixed positions, not being displaced relatively to the radius direction.
