PURPOSE:To enable the observation of a continuous pulverizing phenomenon, by providing a phase adjusting means between a strobo power source for observing the pulverization of the ink stream injected from a nozzle and the power source of the vibrator for imparting vibration to the ink stream. CONSTITUTION:A stroboscope 9 and a microscope 11 are arranged in order to observe the pulverization of the ink stream injected from a nozzle and phase adjusting means is provided between the power source 3 of the stroboscope 9 and the power source 3 of a vibrater 2 (such as a piezoelectric vibrator) for imparting vibration to the ink stream. This phase adjusting means is pref. constituted so that the outputs of a low frequency transmitter 13 and a high frequency transmitter 15 are respectively subjected to frequency dividing by dividers 14, 16 to be inputted to an adder 19 and one signal among the outputs therefrom is set as a strobo signal Z and the signal becoming max. in a frequency dividing ratio among the output signals of the high frequency transmitter 15 is inputted to the vibrator 2.
