PURPOSE:To stably perform the painting of a desired pattern in a reduced air consumption amount, by specifying the direction of a paint pressure introducing line in order to form the vortex stream of the paint in a paint chamber and providing a paint reflux flow line capable changing the jet amount of the paint and a flow control valve. CONSTITUTION:The paint sent under pressure from a paint supply pipe while receiving air pressure is supplied to a paint sump chamber 19 from a paint inflow line 18 and flowed into a cylindrical paint chamber 11 from the direction tangential to the peripheral surface part thereof through each paint pressure introducing path 12 to form a vortex stream. The flow speed of this vortex stream becomes higher toward the center part of the chamber 11 and the paint is injected from a paint jet nozzle 16 by extremely large kinetic energy and impinged to the open air to be finely pulverized. A paint reflux flow line 14 is connected to the axial core part of the chamber 11 in opposed relation to the nozzle 16 and, if th4e amount of the refluxed paint is regulated by a flow control valve 15, the paint jet amount of the jet nozzle 16 can be regulated.
