CONTINUOUS UNFURLING CLOTH TRANSFER DEVICE FOR CANVAS

PURPOSE:To make a cloth guider possible to accurately hold a side edge part of canvas in between even if its width varies, by detecting the canvas width with a sensor all the time, and automatically adjusting it so as to cause the cloth guider to be situated in the side edge part of the canvas. CONSTITUTION:Air type sensors 2a and 2b at both sides are automatically moved and adjusted by servomotors 14a and 14b so as to cause both side end edges of canvas 1 being transferred to be situated between diaphragm switches 7 and 8 to be operated by air pressure out of air nozzles 9 and 10. This travel is transmitted to servomotors 18a and 18b via potentiometers 15a and 15b, receiving each signal feedback out of potentiometers 19a and 19b, and cloth guiders 16a and 16b at both sides is made to be automatically moved to a proper position according to width of the canvas to be transferred. Therefore, even if the width of the canvas to be transferred varies, these cloth guiders accurately hold its side edge part in between, thus continuous unfurling cloth transfer for the canvas is performable.
