GREENS-PLANTING WORK FOR SLOPED HARD GROUND SURFACE

PURPOSE:To prevent the decaying of plant roots by a method in which deep trenches are formed in the direction of crossing the slope of hard ground by high-pressure water jet in such a way as to enable soil for vegetation which is placed on the trenches to be cut into the hard ground readily. CONSTITUTION:Deep trenches 2 along the traverse direction of the slope 1 of hard ground are formed at given intervals in the direction of crossing the slope 1 by high-pressure water jet. A vegetation material 2 composed of soil, fertilizer, water, seeds, fibrous material, tackifier, etc., is placed on the slope 1. The degradation of the ground can be prevented and the trenching work of the ground can be made with very good efficiency because of the use of high-pressure water jet in the formation of the trenches 2 without causing any damage to the surrounding ground. The retaining of rain water can be well attained and also the permeation of rain water into the ground can be promoted due to the presence of the trenches 2. The decaying of plant roots can thus be prevented.
