PURPOSE:To improve safety and usability, by housing an excessive outflow prevention valve unit in a cock so that the valve unit can stop the abnormal release of gas due to the removal or damage of a rubber hose or the like and by housing a ball valve separator which is operated for reusing. CONSTITUTION:A closing member 3 having a plug hole 4 in the center is rotatably fitted in the halfway part of the body 1 of a cock. Guide recesses 14, 14 are provided at a gas passage extending in the axial direction of the cock. The recesses are located adjacently to the closing member 3. A plate cam 10 having a hemispherical surface 11, guides 13, 13 and a dropping valve element 12 is slidably supported between the guide recesses 14, 14 and a leftward elastic force is applied to the cam by a spring 17 interposed between the cam and one end face of a valve seat 6 secured in the body 1. A ball valve separator is thus manufactured. A ball valve 8, which is normally located in a ball valve carrier 16' having a carrying pin 16 and is brought into pressural contact with the valve seat 6 at the time of excessive gas outflow to shut it off, is provided so that an excessive outflow prevention valve unit 5 is manufactured.
