APPARATUS FOR DETECTING WATER LEAKAGE OF TAP WATER PIPING SYSTEM IN BUILDING

PURPOSE:To enhance durability and reliability and to facilitate installation, by providing a flow passage part wherein large and small caliber pipes respectively having check values are connected in parallel and detecting the open state of the check valve of the small caliber pipe to display the same. CONSTITUTION:Check valve apparatuses C1, C2, each of which comprising a flow passage part constituted by connecting a large caliber pipe 2 having a check valve 1 and a small caliber pipe 4 equipped with a detector 5 and having a check valve 3, are provided to the predetermined place on a tap water piping system consisting of a water supply pipe W, a water meter M and a water receiving tank RT while an alarm apparatus having display lamps L1- L3 is arranged. When tap water is not used but there is water leakage, the check valve 3 is opened by the quantity Q2' of water passing through the small caliber pipe 4 and the detector 5 detects the open state of said valve 3 to emit a signal and the display lamps L1-L3 of the alarm apparatus are lighted to display water leakage. As a result, the apparatus can be easily installed by simple constitution and the water leakage detection apparatus having high durability and reliability can be obtained.
