PURPOSE:To attain correction of a route on a free surface over a cubic space by calculating the position of a torch on a plane at a teaching point from the posture of the torch and just giving the value of a correction amount through an operator. CONSTITUTION:At the outset the tangential direction vector is obtained for a route at a teaching point from an equation of a free line passing through a group of given teaching points. The posture of a torch 4 is generally decided by the value of two rotary axes showing both longitude and latitude. Then the direction vector of the torch 4 is obtained from the value of said two axes. Furthermore the correcting direction vector of each teaching point is decided 3-dimensionally by obtaining an external product of the tangential direction and torch direction vectors. Thus it is possible to decide the correction of a working route shifted from the working center route on a 3-dimensional free curves surface based on the posture of a tool such as the torch 4, etc.
