PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. which forms a crystal-clear film after a colored stock soln. is applied and dried, containing a leuco dye and an org. acid and/or an inorg. acid having a specified MW. CONSTITUTION:0.01-10wt% leuco dye and 0.01-20wt% org. acid (e.g. formic acid) and/or inorg. acid (e.g. sulfurous acid) having an MW of 300 or below are mixed with a strippable protective coating compsn. which forms a crystal-clear film and is obtd. by dissolving a water-soluble high-molecular material such as PVA or an oil-soluble high-molecular material such as PVC, an antistatic agent, a surfactant, etc. in a solvent, thus obtaining the titled compsn. which can easily form a continuous film having a uniform thickness while preventing incomplete or double coating.
