PURPOSE:To share variable in common between transactions by representing numerals in a question as variables entirely, forming and managing individually the definition formula of the variables and the operating formula of answer, raising a question with a random number table and setting a numeral with actuality. CONSTITUTION:A numeral deciding section 8 extracts a name of a variable and a definition formula in use from a definition formula table in a memory 2 according to the transaction number selected by a question control section 7, uses a random number in a random number generating section 10, calculates a numeral to all variables in use, the question control section 7 reads sequentially an example of transaction from a transaction question table according to the selected transaction number, replaces the variable in the transaction example with a numeral from the numeral deciding section 8, and a display processing section 5 outputs sequentially the transaction example to a display device 3. A correct answer operating section 9 extracts a corresponding operation formula from an operation formula table 13, calculates a correct answer, which is given to an answer check section 11 and collated with the inputted answer from a solver.
