PURPOSE:To manufacture rolled alloy material having mixed structure of two phases B2, DO3, by rolling Si-Al-Fe alloy, having high magnetic permeability and a specific composition, in a mixed phase temp. range of both phases B2 and DO3 or at a temp. not lower than the temp., and by quenching the alloy after it hes been kept in the mixed phase temp. range. CONSTITUTION:Si-Al-Fe alloy having high magnetic permeability and consisting in wt% of 5-11 (more preferably 8-10) Si, 2-8 (more preferably 4-6) Al, the balance being Fe, is rolled in a temp. range of a mixed phase consisting of B2 and DO3 phases, or at a temp. higher than said temp. range. The rolled material is kept at a temp. in the range of the mixed phase for a specific time, then it is quenched, hereby Si-Al-Fe alloy having high magnetic permeability, and having a mixed phase consisting of two phases B2 and DO3 is manufactured. Hardening of an alloy contg. 9% Si, 5% Al at 600 deg.C temp. allows to exhibit particularly high magnetic permeability.
