摘要
PURPOSE:To obtain a high strength Cu alloy with superior resistance to corrosion due to sea water and superior hot workability by adding specified amounts of Mn, Zn, Ni and other elements to Cu. CONSTITUTION:A Cu alloy contg. 7-22% Mn, 25-35% Zn, 3-8.5% Ni, 0.1- 2.5% Fe and/or Ti and 0.1-2% Al and/or Si is cast into a valve for a line pipe for transporting polluted sea water. One or more among 0.1-2% Sn and/or Co, 0.01-0.1% P and/or As and 0.01-0.1% Pb may be added besides said alloying components. A Cu alloy with =50kg/mm.2 high strength, superior resistance to corrosion due to sea water and superior hot workability is obtd.
