PURPOSE:To read out the ID section of the sector immediately after an index pulse so as to understand the physical array of logical sector numbers on the track, by using the logical sector number of the sector immediately after the index pulse as the value of an interleave factor fixing the physical array of logical sector numbers. CONSTITUTION:During the period from the Start to the execution of the Process 1, values of ''0'', ''0'', ''32(10)'', and ''2000(10)'' are respectively set in each register A-C and HL. In the Process 2 the content of the register A is updated to the value of ''5'' by adding an IF(=5) to the ''0''. In the process 3 it is discriminated whether or not the content of the register A is ''32'' (maximum logical sector number) or less and, since the content is ''5'' in the first place, the process proceeds to the Process 6. In the Process 7, it is judged whether or not the content of the register C whose content is decreased by ''1'' whenever the Process 6 is passed becomes equal to ''0'' and, when the content is not equal to ''0'', the process is returned to the Process 2. Thereafter, at every time when the process makes a round through the Processes 2, 3, 6, and 7 the content of the register A is increased by ''5'' and the contents are respectively written in a memory as logical sector numbers corresponding to physical sectors No.1-No.5. The logical sector numbers are written in an implemented memory until the content of the register C goes to ''0''.
