DEVICE SEPARATING EXPIRATION FROM INSPIRATION OF EXPRIMENT SMALL ANIMAL TO COLLECT EXPIRATION

PURPOSE:To enable perform a collection of only expiration gas through reliable separation of expiration from inspiration, by a method wherein an electromagnetic valve is controlled through electric detection of expiration of a small animal. CONSTITUTION:A change in pressure corresponding to the respiration of a small animal (a) is electrically detected by a pressure transducer 1 at a pressuresensitive part, and a 3-way electromagnetic valve 4 is regulated via a DC amplifier 2 and a gradient discriminator 3. This enables the reliable separation of expiration from inspiration through a valve 4, and causes collecting of only expiration gas to a gas collecting device 6.
