Air aspirator for bottles - uses non-return valve, bottle stopper and screw on syringe with exhaust valve

The aspirator combines a syringe (7) with a cork stopper (2), fitted with a non-return valve. A bore (4) in the stopper is closed by a spring-loaded (16) ball (14) held in place by a screwed housing (18). - The syringe, when connected to the housing, acts as a pump withdrawing air from the container and expelling it to atmosphere via another non-return valve (1), during the return stroke.
