The arrangement is intended as a protective screen for the warp yarns of a weaving loom. This screen extends over the warp beam or beams covering their entire width and is removable either in its entirety or upwardly hingeable, foldable, collapsible, slidable, etc. - The screen extends at least over the upper and rear sides of the beam and may have a downward extension at the rear. It may rest on the end flanges of the beam, e.g. via rollers, or on parts of the loom frame to which it may be hinged. The screen may comprise curved side members with spaced parallel rungs between them or articulated side members with rollers resting on the beam flanges so that it can be folded away.
