The sail-board assembly comprises two boards (1) with respective foot holds (10) and connected (9) via a movable transverse bridge (2) with a central mounting point (3) for a mast with a sail. - The connections (9) permit relative movements of the boards in longitudinal direction, in vertical direction (i.e. one board higher than the other), angularly in forward direction, and angularly in lateral direction. A stop mechanism (12) may be provided to limit or prevent any or all of the possible degrees of freedom of these relative movements.
