摘要

The principal heat recovery is attained by surrounding the stove with an indirect air heater comprising a flue path in an air duct. The exhaust fumes pass from the front of the stove, under the hearth and rise over the firestack and top of the enclosure. - The hot gases and smoke are further oxygenated, by the addition of cold air from the bottom. They ignite to burn off the volatile components which raises the temperature. A reflective screen is interposed between the stove and rear wall of the room.
