The switching module and system has devices to regenerate digital signals bit synchronously and a control unit to control the switching points. The devices (1,2) for regeneration can be switched off. They are coupled via a first isolation amplifier (3) to a clock input and via a second isolation amplifier (4) to a clock output of the module. - The system consists of several modules. At the output of any one module is connected only one input of a following module.
