The projectile is intended for catching small game without wounding it. It consists of a number e.g. four parts (3; 5,6) which are each connected with a corner of a net (1) and are shaped such that, when shot from a shot gun, they move in different directions to spread the net. - These parts are pref. contained in a cartridge (10) with appropriate charge (15). They may consist of cylinder sector-section portions (6) integral with cylinder segment-shaped portions (5) defining the space (7) within the cartridge for the net.
