The arrangement permits observing the extreme ends the lower space around a motor vehicle (1) from inside that vehicle. It comprises at least one mirror (7) arranged near a front corner of the vehicle and facing the bumper (3) and the space in front and at least one mirror arranged near the corresponding rear corner to face the bumper (4) and the space behind. - The mirros are directed at corresponding inclined mirrors, arranged centrally below the vehicle at a position beside the driver who can observe the respective corner areas via a window (8) in the floor. The mirrors (7,9) are pref. arranged at the four ends and at the cross-over point of tubes (2) arranged in X-formation below the floor, the end mirrors being protected by transparent upper and lateral panes.
