Novel substituted N-benzoyl-N'-pyridyloxy-phenylureas of the formula IMAGE wherein X1, X2 and X3 are each independently hydrogen, halogen or methyl, Y is hydrogen or halogen, R is hydrogen, C1-C5alkyl, C3-C5alkenyl or C3-C5alkynyl, and R1, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, C1-C4alkyl, C1-C4alkoxy or C1-C4alkylthio, are useful for controlling insects and representatives of the order Acarina. They are characterised by larvicidal action, especially against plant-destructive feeding insects.
