The actual radiation dose is continuously measured at a given point in space. The corresp. applicable parameters are calculated from the measured values, using the laws of radioactive decay and mathematical methods based on a combination of curve-fitting (regressive) and iteration. - The equipment comprises a radiation detector signal amplifier and conditioner (together forming the dose measuring unit), and a combined arithmetic unit. The arithmetic unit is made up of function matching comparator, evaluator calculator, keyboard and display sections.
