A portable incubator device for culturing fish eggs comprising in combination a metal or polythenebody for a hatching unit, a distributor box with a control valve, a water reservoir wherein means are provided in the hatching unit to produce a circulating current of water, which is fed into the hatching unit from the water reservoir through the distributor box via the control valve.
