The hot water supply comprises a heater (5) connected to a heating circuit (2-4) with a solar collector (1). The circuit has a cold water inlet (6) and a water outlet line (7), which is connected to a geyser (10) provided with a hot water outlet supply line (11). A by-pass (12) connecting the geyser inlet (7) and outlet lines contains a thermostatic valve (13) which closes when the temperature of the water from the heater (5) drops below a pre-determined adjustable level. The valve pref. passes a given minimum flow in the closed position and the line may be connected to the cold water supply (15) via a mixing valve (14).
