The system detects the presence of an intruder by means of existing, known techniques, e.g. passive infra-red detection, radar, ultrasonics, etc. The novel feature is that the detection and alarm system is linked with a t.v. receiver. It may be built into the receiver during mfr., retro-fitted or in some way electrically connected to the receiver.
