A concrete element (1) with varying section geometry along the length has a number of reinforcing wires (2a-2h) that run rectilinear and continually between the ends of the concrete element and with varying wire geometry in an arbitrarily situated concrete cross section between the element ends. The element's wire geometry and cross section configuration are thereby optimised in an arbitrary cross section while the requirements of low weight of the element as a whole, predetermined rupture capacity in the respective cross section and specified rectilinear wire placement without discontinuity points through the element are fulfilled.This allows the element's cross section to be optimised throughout the entire length of the element, which results in good economy for the element as a whole.A mould bed can have a number of consecutive mould cavities (4) for manufacturing concrete elements of the given type. Interworking wire guide plates (10; 11) are thereby used to give the reinforcing wires (2) the correct position along the horizontal and vertical axis. These wire guide plates (10; 11) can also be used as stop ends between consecutive mould cavities.IMAGE
