The links (20) have heads (21,22) with spherical bearing surfaces, and the capsuling is freely movable in the horizontal plane within specific limits. They also have an adjustable length. The frame units (12) together with the links are so arranged that the capsuling can move in all directions in the horizontal plane for a distance of approx. 10mm from a fixed equilibrium position. Each link with its corresp. frame unit is formed as a separate assembly foot, which is small in relation to the dimensions of the gas-insulated equipment. Shock absorbers (14) are connected to the frame units for damping and restricting the movement of the capsuling in the horizontal plane should earth tremors occur. The insulation between the voltage carrying part of the arrangement and the surrounding metal capsuling consists of an insulating gas, e.g. sulphur hexafluoride, at a specific excess pressure.
