The AITA test apparatus shown in the diagram is used to produce opening-closing forces in the lattices for forgings by means of the movement of its intermediate vertical plate, thus testing the strength characteristics of the welding points in order to prevent any failure in the welds during the execution of the forging causing a sudden movement that might displace the operatives working on it, depriving them of their element of support, thereby causing the operative to fall, inflicting work accidents that are very often fatal when falling onto lower floors.
