Synthesis process of the 1-n-1- (ethoxycarbonyl) -3-propyl-faith nil-l-alanyl-l-proline and its pharmaceutically acceptable salts

1-(N-(1-ethoxycarbonyl 3-phenyl propyl) L-alanyl)L-proline and its acceptable salts are made by reductive amination of ethyl 2-oxo 4-phenyl butanoate with L-alanyl L-proline under phase transference conditions. Reaction is in inert organic solvent e.g. CH2Cl2 or benzene, with sodium cyano-borohydride in presence of a tetra-alkyl ammonium halide with 1-20C alkyl chains, as phase transfer catalyst.
