Hydrometallurgical process for extracting zinc and Copper precipitate mainly Silver and Precious Metals, and eventually lead zinciferas sulphurous, from materials that may contain Iron.It includes the following Operations: First, as a First stage of leaching at a temperature between 120 and 160 degrees higher than the temperature of Melting Sulfur oxidizing conditions and in the presence of a diluted aqueous solution of sulfuric acid; Second,As a Second Stage Leach at Atmospheric Pressure and in the presence of an aqueous solution of sulfuric acid, with a view to produce a solution of ZINC SULFATE and a residue containing Sulphur, zinc and Copper residual Waste, most of the lead; and finally, the Precious Metals are recovered by a Flotation process.
