BROADBAND MICROSTRIP ANTENNA WITH VARACTOR DIODES

ABSTRACTA microstrip antenna is disclosed consisting of aflat metallic patch spaced from the ground plane. Toincrease the bandwidth of the antenna a pair of varactordiodes are provided positioned at opposite sides of thepatch and connected between it and the ground plane.
