ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURENovel fertilizer preparations with controlled-start nutrient release, the preparations containing thenutrient enveloped in an enveloping agent selected fromwater-repellent substances, substances that are sparinglysoluble in water and substances capable of swelling in water,and the use of such fertilizers. The fertilizer preparationshave a delayed-start nutrient release, the time of which canbe controlled according to the desired purpose for which theyare used.
